Vortex Air Fryer Strawberry French Toast Bake

Vortex Air Fryer Strawberry French Toast Bake is a sweet breakfast treat that cooks up right in your air fryer.  I love strawberry season it’s my favorite time of year and using fresh and seasonal strawberries takes this French toast recipe up a notch.

What you need for Vortex Air Fryer Strawberry French Toast Bake

4 teaspoons butter – salted or unsalted 

1 lb loaf of brioche – or other egg bread 

8 eggs – large eggs 

2 cups milk – dairy based milk works best 

1 cup heavy cream – half and half would also work 

2 teaspoons vanilla extract 

1 teaspoon cinnamon 

8 oz fresh strawberries, washed, tops off, halved or quartered – thawed frozen strawberries would also work 

2 tablespoons brown sugar 

Powdered sugar – if desired for serving

Syrup – if desired for serving 

 

How to Make Vortex Air Fryer Strawberry French Toast Bake

Butter a baking dish.

Cut or tear the brioche into chunks and place evenly in dish.

In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, and cinnamon until well combined.

Pour egg mixture over the bread, making sure all is coated.

Cover the dish and cool in fridge overnight.

Preheat your air fryer to 350 on BAKE. Tuck cut berries into the bread.

Sprinkle on brown sugar. Cover with tin foil.

Bake for about 20. Uncover and bake for 5 to 10 more minutes or until golden brown and done in center.

Serve with powdered sugar and/or syrup if desired.
