Ingredients and Variations

Carrots Select carrots of a similar thickness for even cooking, or slice them into equally sized sticks. Baby carrots are an excellent choice, and are already peeled!

Garlic – Fresh garlic has a more intense flavor than the jarred version. Mince it finely, or use a garlic press to extract the most flavor. Garlic powder can be used in a pinch.

Butter – Use salted or unsalted butter, and adjust the seasoning accordingly. Olive oil, walnut, or avocado oil can be substituted.

Variations – Enhance the sweetness of carrots with a tablespoon of honey or brown sugar added to the melted butter and garlic.
