Best Potatoes to Use

POTATOES:  The best potatoes to use are Russet Potatoes. Make sure they are smooth and free of blemishes.  One secret to extra crispy potatoes is to cut them, and then let them soak for an hour or so before cooking. Remember to pat them dry, so there is no moisture left. Then add the olive oil and the spices. SPICES: The secret spices to this recipe are just a little salt, pepper, and paprika. However, if a spicier potato is desired, then sprinkle with cayenne.

  1. The time is really confusing. Cook them fir 15 minutes, shake them halfway through, then cook for 10 more minutes? So shake them at 7-1/2 minutes, then cook for 7-1/2 more and it’s done? Or 10 minutes more? Or 10 more minutes after the first 15?

    1. Sorry for the confusion Greg! We cook the wedges for 15 minutes, shake the basket, and cook for an additional 10 minutes. I hope this helps!
